AKRA Elevator showcased domestic engineering and safety solutions at ELEVEX 2026
AKRA Elevator drew attention with its next-generation products and engineering solutions at the ELEVEX 2026 Konya Elevator and Technology Fair. Chairman of the Board Mustafa Karabulut noted that the fair made significant contributions in terms of brand awareness and new export connections, stating that ELEVEX serves as a powerful platform for bringing the Turkish elevator industry to international markets. Karabulut said that throughout the fair, they held productive meetings with industry representatives from the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and the Turkic Republics, and that these contacts laid the groundwork for new business partnerships.
The most eye-catching product at the booth was a new-generation elevator system compliant with EN 81-21 standards, capable of operating at a depth of just 20 centimeters from the bottom of the shaft and reaching a speed of 1 m/s. The solution, which offers high safety in a compact space thanks to its electromechanical braking system, drew significant interest from visitors.
At the fair, the AKRA Mega and AKRA Supra automatic door series also garnered praise for their design, quiet operation, and build quality. These safety-focused products stood out for their compatibility with modern control systems and their domestic production capabilities.
In his post-fair assessment, Mustafa Karabulut stated that they aim to grow in the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and the Turkic Republics markets, noting that investments to increase production capacity and the local production ratio are ongoing.
Karabulut said, “With our systems capable of reaching a speed of 1 m/s at a pit depth of 20 centimeters, our next-generation security technologies, and our Mega-Supra door series, we successfully showcased the power of domestic engineering at ELEVEX 2026.”
